The food is very good. The buffet is well worth the price.

I found the music very entertaining for my age, but extremely inappropriate for my 6 year old nephew. If the video wasn’t playing, he’d have no idea what they were saying. I also had no idea what they were saying but the music videos were of men upsetting their wives by looking at other woman and being pigs. Other than that, the food was amazing and the facility was clean. I’m not too sure the waiter spoke English very well, but that did add to the cultural experience. We didn’t mind

Delicious food! Best tikka chicken ever

The food was amazing, we didnt realize the buffet was only on the weekends. The only issue we had is that we went on a Thursday evening. There was only one server with multiple guests in the dining area. This resulted in subpar service, taking 10-15min to get our check after we had to ask for it. Otherwise, I would come back again and try more of this delicious food.

Great food. Have been eating there for about 15 years. Always happy. Never crowded, even on a Friday or Saturday night. My wife love that we can go there and not have to wait and it's relatively quiet. Prices are a touch high but all in all it is a great dinner destination.

Excellent lunch on the go. I just picked up food from the lunch buffet, it was piping hot, delicious, and I was out the door in 2 minutes. Don't be put off by the desperate looking strip mall it's in, the inside is bright and Pleasant.

Chicken overcooked, waited an additional 30 minutes from the time they said order up.I would give this place a 1 star if the sauce tasted bad, but they do a good job with the sauce.

Great food and all you can eat buffet options

We had matter paneer and chicken and Goni kulcha. It was really good. Lassi here was also very good. Tea was average. Good experience overall.

This place has always been a gem. Great food, great service. Your server won’t hover but always seems to know when you need a drink refill. Love the atmosphere here and truly miss dining in, but for now I’m happy to continue supporting the business with carry out food! This is always my special occasion go-to restaurant. I’ve been coming here since I was 12 years old and my dad would bring me. I’m 25 now!

Quick service, amazing food!!! Been here multiple times quality never changed I am super satisfied.. I would recommend this ten times over.. if you haven't tried this place check it out, the curry chicken, chicken tikka masala, and I forgot the name but the chicken is red those are my favorite dishes.

We ordered food through Uber eats and it was quiet bad! We specifically asked for 2 plates (missed) and the rice was very over cooked.. please think twice before ordering Biryani from Sahota

I've come here many times in the past. I've been disappointed the last few times I've gone for the dinner buffet. Our last visit was last Sunday. I really struggled between giving 2 or 3 stars (2.5 stars would be my true rating) . I decided on 3 for the following. The staff has always been attentive, respectful and welcoming. The dining area has always been clean and the food tastes good. My issue is that the last few times the food in the buffet has been cold. Either their steam table was not working properly or the food wasn't freshly cooked and was refrigerated before hitting the steam table. I'm more leaning towards the latter. I'm hoping they pay attention to these reviews, because I'm hesitant to return and starting to wonder what happened to the quality food they used to serve. I'll probably give it another chance in the future and hope to update my review with better news.

Amazing food, such a nice staff. I have tried around five dishes everyone of them don't disappoint. Omg, the food is amazing. I have been to every Indian restaurant in Syracuse, hands down this one is the BEST by miles. The food is made fresh for you!!! Paneer Tikka, Garlic NaN, and the Indian Spiced Tea are i my favorites. If you love Indian food or want to try it goooo here you won't be disappointed.

A fabulous flavorful spiced just right entree with oh so good chicken and amazing rice accompanied by disappointing sides. I probably shouldn't have ordered so late in the evening but my go-to restaurants have to be consistent with quality to make it onto my short list. The entree was worth the surprise disappointments so I hope to try Sahota Palace again someday. Raita was not raita - think it was a cheese dish, soups were thin and lacked the flavor I expected - veggie soup was thin, bland, not any lentils I could perceive and the chicken soup rated like Campbell's cream of chicken only thin and without the bits of chicken.

Good food nice place

Awesome tasty food. We ordered veg platter, navratna korma which came with coconut/jeera rice. All of them are fantastic. For South Indians who need more spice in food, go for spicy level. Service is impressive!!!

Food was fresh and very tasty. Me and my family had the dinner buffet. Prices were reasonable. They open at 5pm for dinner we got there right at 5. Some of the food could of been warmer but understandable that they just opened. Definitely would come again!

We moved up to Syracuse from FL in 2014 and this was one of the first places we tried. It was delicious then and it’s delicious now. We usually get takeout but will occasionally dine in and both are equally good. I recommend this place to anyone looking for Indian food.

My go to Indian restaurant in Syracuse. I’ve tried them all and Sahota is the best. Always good, never had a bad experience. The buffet is always hot and fresh. Full of flavor and spices. So many vegetarian options! Try the paneer korma! We go here at least twice a month with all my friends.

Wow. This food was absolutely delicious! My son and I had the mixed grill which had chicken, lamb, and shrimp done in "medium" spiciness, and buttered naan - and we will be back for more tomorrow! Everything was cooked perfectly. My 13-year old son could not get enough of it. Thank you!

Absolutely mouth watering, authentic Indian food. So delicious! I’ve lived in New Jersey and NYC and have had my share of fantastic (and average) Indian fare and this restaurant is without question one of the best I’ve eaten at. Everything cooked and spiced perfectly. If you’re a foodie or just need a new flavor adventure, please give this place a try. Don’t be afraid of the heat, they can make dishes mild if you ask. I had Paneer Tikka Masala and Navratan Korma (both vegetarian!) and I was so delighted by the quality cooking.Not sure why there are complaints about pricing, I got tons of food for a decent price.

Service was spot on and the food is amazing! From the appetizers to the main dishes, everything was delicious. Spiced and flavored perfectly! The best Indian food I have had. Highly recommend this for you and your wife or date, or for a larger party.

I came here on my lunch break recently and enjoyed the lunch buffet. The food was incredibly flavorful and fresh, and the service was friendly. I will definitely be back!

Was excellent (5-star worthy) the first 5-6 times I ordered from them. Ordered today and the meal I typically order was made quite different. Only had peas, corn, green beans in a very spicy sauce for a dish that isn’t very spicy (Navratan Korma). There was no paneer or potatoes as there typically is. Tried to call to see if it was being made differently in which I was told it wasn’t but specifying what I wanted would help in the future. It’s hard to specify if there are different chefs making meals different ways- where less and more spicy and the “normal” vegetables would mean different things to each. The man who answered the phone said they would not charge me for my next meal but didn’t take my name or number or any identifying info to ensure that.
